Spring 2018

Spring is in the Air. The snow is starting to melt, the ground beginning to thaw and the school year turning the corner towards the home stretch. Those of us that work in the role of supporting classroom teachers, know how challenging and demanding this time of the year can be. Find a teacher and give them a word of encouragement, buy them a cup of coffee, and thank them for providing opportunities for all students to engage in meaningful, sensemaking mathematical opportunities.

Happy 50th Anniversary NCSM

I recently had the opportunity to celebrate turning 50 with my twin sister and family. What a fun time it was to celebrate this occasion.

I am looking forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of NCSM with all of you in Washington D.C. this April. If you have not had a chance to make a video to wish the organization a happy 50th, click here and hit record. https://flipgrid.com/ggl1yt
